Re-entry permission: Article 26 of the Immigration Control Act
許可されている在留期間内に、一時的に海外出張に出たり、母国に帰国したりした後、再び日本に入国して日本出国前と同一の在留資格で在留したい時に必要とされる許可です。この許可を受けずに出国すると、再び在留資格認定証明書、ビザ、在留資格を申請しなければなりません。
This permission is required when you would like to re-enter Japan and stay under the same status of residence as previous one after leaving Japan to go on a business trip abroad or to go back to your country temporarily, during the permitted period of stay. If you leave Japan without this permission, you have to apply for your certificate of eligibility, visa and status of residence again.
